Analysing a still image - Acting on feedback

WWW: You have picked out the key aspects of genre from the posters and some other key features.
EBI: It would be good if you would analyse specific features from the poster - ie. the titles - and talk about colour, positioning etc and how this links to genre, audience appeal, purpose. This could be done for quite a few individual features on the poster.

Acting on feedback
The titles on the picture don't stand out too much as they don't want to distract away from the image, the title of the film (in white) links to the name 'White house down' it contrasts with the picture as the order and control of the white writing contrasts with the orange burning an explosions in the background.
The titles and their positioning link to the genre as in action films its always the contrast of control and order against the  chaos that is unfolding , this appeals to the audience as it shows the genre clearly.

The aerial/ high angle shot make us see the vulnerability of the situation unfolding below we can see the chaos from a safe point of view expressing to the audience that this action adventure genre will be right in the middle of this chaos, and the enigma is that we want to know who's point of view are we seeing this from?  why is this all happening? and of course , how does it end?
