'The male gaze' -Laura Mulvey 1975  (visual pleasure and narrative cinema)
The male gaze is a theory that is viewing from a hetrosexual males point of view, it says that there are 4 ways the audience view media :
1. how men look at women
2. how women look at themselves.
3. how women look at other women
4. relegate women to objects -sexual objects.
After watching the music video 'Shes so lovely' by Scouting for girls, We were unable to answer these questions..

                   
Because the mains shots focused were these shots shown below and the main things to try and be made obvious were her lips , his face admiring her and other parts of the video.

    EBI: You had explained the representation of the woman on the screen in a more detailed way. How does her representation prove the theory? How is she shown as an object?
